Finally got my hands on Colourpop not in the normal way though!?

About time eyy....

So I have wanted Colourpop cosmetics since I saw the collab they did with Kathleen Lights and I found a way which not everyone many approve of but I recently downloaded an app called DEPOP (this is not sponsored btw) and I have found a good few items on there and I'm sure there is something for everyone on there.

Anyway, there are some really good sellers if you find them and I found on that sold Colourpop but obviously because it is not from the website the prices will be higher but I knew that when I was looking. So I decided to treat myself to two of the Ultra Satin Lips but my next problem was which shades to get I had been looking to order from Colourpop for a while and I was really excited about doing this so I already had a list but I would really recommend knowing what you want before you just buy. Have a look at swatches online!!

In the end I decided to go for "Littlestitious" and "Dopey" with Dopey always being sold out on the website I wanted to find out why really.

I would describe Littlestitious to be a pastel dusty pink which if you don't like vampy lips in autumn this looks so pretty especially on pale skin tones as its not too dark which is what I really struggle with.

Dopey I would dusty mauve which like littlestitious is really pretty for autumn.

The formula:- Heads up, these will transfer especially when eating and drinking also when only the lipstick is applied depending on what you do with it on it can leave you with butt hole lips which isn't always cute looking so would need to carry around with you so that this doesn't happen.

Overall, for what would be $6 these aren't too bad I don't think that they are mind-blowing but there better than others especially at the price point. The colours though are really nice however do look slightly different in tube than on lips.

P.S. These cost me just under £15 with postage on Depop if you were wondering.

NYX Gotcha Covered Concealer Review

 Hey Guys, so recently I discovered the NYX Gotcha covered concealer. I bought this in the mindset that it would be a good product, seen as though I've recently become obsessed with store NYX.    

So, I urgently needed a new concealer and saw this one at the price of £5.50, which I thought was a reasonably good price seen as though my old one was a lot dearer. Now this concealer is only small at 8ml, however it is a concealer and will only be used to cover small discolored areas underneath the eyes, around the nose and on red marks. I bought the shade in  ivory which is the lightest shade out of the collection and surprisingly think it goes well with my skin.

When I first used this concealer, I thought you would need quite a bit of the product. However this was not the case, seen as though the more you put on the more cakey the product it is, so only a little amount is needed. To get rid of the cakiness , applying some loose powder does the trick:) This product is really easy to blend out with a beauty blender and gives a full coverage.    

The only issue , I have the with product is that it can come across abit oily. So if your someone with natrually oily skin I probably wouldn't recommend this product but other than that i think it is great to use as a cheap,drugstore concealer. 

First opinions are defiantly a hit!

My Favourite Book

I am not a reader never have been and probably won't be (well as keen as others) anyway when I go on holiday I always buy some books to take and this year was no different but I didn't realise how much I would love the book I downloaded as much as I did I could not put it down and that is unusual for me. I can read more books on holiday but not as quickly as I have these two.

So your prpoably wondering what the book is now well it is by Erin Watt and the first book of the series is called Paper Princess (seen below)

I would not recommend this book to anyone under the age of 16 mainly because of some of the context but the storyline is as similar to the typical YA book at the moment. Mainly because, even though books about mental health and issues are eye opening to read I love a book where its sort of like my fantasy and this book is exactly what I needed on my holiday. I absolutely love this book and if you are looking for a romance story which isn't to hard to read and is more of a dream romance then I can't recommend this enough.

We are not the best at uploading and are trying to devise a schedule of some sort but thats went down the drain when I wanted to get this latest post up for you by the weekend but instead I'm ill and so cannot take the pictures I want in good quality and so as soon as possible I will try and get this post up I am trying ahahah.

Yue er Gong zhu   

(Now if you are english like me you probably don't understand what the above says, however that's not what matters as they are the name of my NEW lashes with are bloodie good!)       

Now, you probably don't know this but recently I have not been able to go out without wearing a pair of false lashes! Everytime I do my makeup, I have to bob a pair of lashes on, as it has just become an everyday thing. I used to wear eylure lashes, which were about £5.99 each time. These lashes came with a little tube of glue and one set of lashes! Don't get me wrong , these lashes are great! They can be re used and give great volume and length to my lashes. At the same time they make your lashes very realistic and not too fake. However, for the amount of times I wear theese lashes, they are starting to become a big cost. 

Anyway, I started to look online for some cheaper more affordable lashes for everyday use and I came across  Yue er Gong zhu lashes. I did not know anything about theese lashes and did not read that much into them , as for 10 pairs they cost me £2.04. Now at this price, I didn't really care how good they were as they were that cheap, I thought it didn't really matter if they were rubbish or not. For starters please don't be put off by the name of them, as you will be pleasantly surprised!! When I received these lashes I could not fault them. I bought the criss cross lashers (HW-08) , and they were definitely worth it! They gave my lashes the volume they never had! They looked extremely realistic on, and for what i paid  for themi wanted to buy 10 more packs!!  

I would definitely use this lashes as a dupe for the eylure ones. They are so easy to apply and can be re used. For the price I paid for these lashes I was not expecting much, however was happily surprised when I tried theese on. The only negative I would have to say about these lashes is that they do not come with any glue. But being a regular user of eyelashes this didnt bother me as they were very very cheap, and I had already had some glue in of my own. Over all , I would definitely recommend theese lashes to everyday users. I wish I had heard about these earlier!

LUSH MAKEUP??😮😱😮😱

I don't know whether this is new or not but I remember getting this eyeshadow from Lush in June and thought that after not hearing many things about Lush having makeup that I would let you know my thoughts on it.

So I got the eyeshadow in the silver colour which I can't remember whether it had a name or not but it's like the only silver one out of them all. You may wonder why I got the silver one because that's not the usual eyeshadow shades I go for but back in June when I got this shadow was mainly for prom as my accessory theme was silver to match my dress......going of topic as usual......

When I first swatched the shadow on my hand I think I nearly died it was so creamy and applied so evenly, the actual shade I was very surprised with as it wasn't too metallic and in your face but had such a nice sheen yet was very pigmented.



The only downside I would say to this shadow is the way to apply it as it comes in the triangular shape and could be seen to be quite awkward to apply as it would not be suitable with a brush or anything along that line so would have to be applied straight to the eye but I think that, that is how you make it look best then just blend out then edges of it.








The colour is truly beautiful as well as the formula but even though it is £10 I actually think that this is worth every single penny due to the amount you get and as long as it lasts but also the quality is AMAZING!!!








I've tried to show you how beautiful it is in the pictures but I honestly can't show its true beauty so I urge you when you are close to a Lush store to go in and swatch it (whether its this colour or not).

Made some cakes that finally worked......🎂🎂

You may or may not have known that we used to have a blog and on that blog I made some very bad cupcakes which I sort of joked about saying "how not to make cupcakes" but I wanted to almost christen this blog with a baking post and I was praying that this one would work and not fail as it was just typical that the bake didn't work.

Anyway, just a bit of back story that everyone loves. So I used the recipe below:




110g Butter
110g Sugar
110g Self- Raising Flour
less than 1/2 tsp baking powder
1 tsp vanilla extract
2 medium eggs
1 tub Betty Crocker Cream Cheese Style Icing





This recipe is very simple and easy to follow by first cream sugar and butter together.

Then mix in eggs with vanilla extract.

Sift in flour with baking powder mix all together till smooth then separate into cases.

I've found the best way to separate evenly into cases is to use an ice cream scoop especially those ones that are round.

Anyway, bake for 10-15 minutes or until golden brown when knife inserted and comes out clean.

Leave to cool for 10 minutes or longer.

Whilst cooling either prepare piping bag or you can use the technique I used to ice by applying the Cream Cheese Icing then spreading with spoon and spiralling around to create desired style.

Gradual Glow

Dove Summer Glow Lotion    

Hello everyone!!! Now we are currently in the middle of August, and if your in Britain like us, you will realize its hard to keep up a natural glowing tan! As you probably know Britain is full of rain and very little sun! So I thought why not show you guys an alternate way to keep a consistent tan cheaply.  This product is from Dove, and is only £2.00 from Superdrug! It is a gradual moisturizing lotion. which keeps you glowing all year round!  

This is a 250ml bottle, and does last a long time! I usually tend to apply this, the day before i want the tan to show up. As you can see this colour is for normal to dark skin, however it is brilliant as it creates a natural looking tan, which looks like you have just come back of your holidays. What I love about this tan, is that you can go in the shower, and scrub yourself as much as you like, and it will still be on once you have stepped out. You are supposed to apply this tan on a daily basis, however even after applying this tan once or twice, you can still guarantee it will be on in the next few days. Therefore lots of coats aren't necessary.

Off on holiday

Well, I thought that going on holiday would escape this UK weather but hearing that we are supposed to have a heatwave whilst I am away is a little bit annoying but I'm still so excited to go and so excited that I thought I would show you what I'm taking and some little tricks whilst packing.

• Tip Number 1

Make sure you have got all the clothes you want to take washed before you go or start packing.

a) because your suitcase won't smell as there is nothing worse than opening your suitcase up to a horrible smell.

b) so that you can arrange your case without having to worry about adding clothes in at the end so that there is no creased clothes from slotting in newly washed clothes.

Review of 3 Most recent  Mac Lipsticks  

Good afternoon everyone! It has just hit noon and I am still currently in bed, watching films! What better way to spend your Friday, than watching films and posting about some of your favourite lipsticks! Today this blog is about 3 of my most recent Mac lipsticks I have purchased, and why I like each one of them differently. These lipsticks are £15.50 each an I think are defiantly worth the money!

Sorry dry shampoo lovers....

The beauty industry has been taken over by dry shampoo so many brands have them in various different types and even smell but are these brilliant hair savers bad for our hair??

I never realised how much I used dry shampoo until it ran out but I have tried to stop myself from using it as often as I did and my hair seemed to benefit from me not using it. This post may be a little tmi but I feel like it is something that us girls should sort of know about when religiously using dry shampoo.
There are so many things that people don't know about dry shampoo like how it isn't as new as what we thought, and not to rub your hair once applied as the oils in your fingers will make it oily again because that's how it got oily in the first place.

When you think about dry shampoo it stops us from washing and shaping our hair at least twice a week which damages our natural oils that are needed to not dry out the scalp and so you may find that your scalp flakes more, when it first happens you just think that it's from using too much shampoo but is it??

Another pair of boots

I felt as though I haven't treated myself in a while and when I saw that honeyz.com was having a sale everything at £10 it was perfect timing so I was looking at around 10am and I was surprised that quite a lot of the stock had sold out there was 2 pairs of shoes that I really liked one being a black pair of snakeskin plimsolls (image below from website) and the other being the pair of boots which I thought was a bargain.


At £10 for the black plimsolls I really couldn't resist until I found that my size was out of stock otherwise I probably would have bought both pairs but anyway onto the pair that I did purchase.

She got the GLOW

Every one loves that glow especially when it has been created by your youtube queen. I think you know who I am on about now *fingers crossed* but she definitely "slayed" with this highlighter.

I know I am late to this highlighter train but living in the UK doesn't always make things as accessible than the ones lucky enough to live in the USA where Sephora is like on your doorstep (I am so jealous), but kind of glad that I'm not so tempted to spend my money on all of the beauty things I am so envious for at the moment.

Anyway, back to the highlighter.

Lush Life

     Hey guys!! Now who doesn't loveeeeee Lush:)

 Soon as you walk in the shop, you know your in Lush! Its Like lush heaven! LUSH LUSH LUSH! 

Now this product here, is the bubble gum lip scrub! This product is so little and petite,its fantastic for your handbag! This small little product is brightly colored and smells delicious! Soon as you dab it on your lips, it tastes amazing!(not sure if your supposed to eat it or not haha!)This little product is a great exfoliator! If you are suffering with dry damaged lips this product is  a great relief, it leaves  your lips feeling ever so soft and smooth!

1st official post

HOLA,BONJOUR,HALLO,CIAO! Welcome to our blog! I know with it being the 1st of August you would expect the first image to be bright an colourful....However we are currently in England and the weather is very dull and boring! So we thought , hey why not take a picture of the candle!   

Who doesn't love candles? Whats not to like?

Hey....

Finally starting this blog, on what I think is a good time to start really, now that it is the start of August and our summer loads of posts should be going up.
Exciting...

So to start then our set up, as you can probably tell there is more than just one person who will be uploading onto this blog making it just that little bit different and hopefully you will enjoy that side to it.
We are still quite new and so for now don't have a schedule for when we post but of course it will be as often as possible.
